1. Referral Service

The public can call the PCOMS office requesting the services of a physician. Referrals are made on a rotating basis, taking into consideration the patients' geographic location. Call (727)-581-9069

2. Chamber of Commerce

The society is involved with area Chambers of Commerce in conjunction with our hospital affiliations. The staff has been active in Chamber health planning committees health fairs and other health projects in the area.

3. Speakers' Bureau

PCOMS has a "Speakers' Bureau" to provide medical speakers to service clubs and other organazations in the county on a wide variety of medical topics.

4. Liaison to Organizations

Staff and board members are actively involved with: American Red Cross, Easter Seals Committee, Pinellas County Planning & Development Board, St. Petersburg Junior College Health Education Committee, Hospice Advisory Committee, St. Petersburg Free Clinic, and Consortium for Regional Medical Educational Training, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, and The Pinellas County Emergency Medical System.
