The Pinellas County Osteopathic Medical Society (District 5) is proud to have the following members elected or appointed to positions in osteopathic organizations.

Family physician Robert Fedor, DO, has been elected Chairman of the Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine. Originally appointed to the Board by
Governor Jeb Bush, Dr. Fedor has served on the Board for four years. He is a
Past President of the Pinellas County Osteopathic Medical Society where he
practices in Madeira Beach. Richard Rodriguez, DO, general surgeon, was
elected Vice-Chairman of the Board. He, too, is a member of the Pinellas
County Osteopathic Medical Society and practices in Clearwater, Florida.

Dr. Samuel Gubemick was elected President of the Florida Allergy, Asthma
and Immunology Society for June 2005 through June 2006. Congratulations
Dr. Gubemick!

Dr. Bridget Bellingar was elected President of the Florida Society ACOFP for 2005-2006, and is President-Elect for PCOMS - District 5 for 2006-2007.

Dr. Anthony Ottaviani was elected President-Elect of the Florida Osteopathic
Medical Association for 2006-2007 and Jeffrey Grove, DO was elected to the
FOMA Executive Board for the same term in office.

Dr. Gregory James has been appointed to represent the AOA at the National
Influenza Vaccine Summit, co-sponsored by the Center for Disease Control
and Prevention and the American Medical Association that was held in
Atlanta.

Dr. Frank Miles has been appointed to the AOIA Technical Advisory Committee where he recently made a presentation at the ACOFP Convention
in Texas on the topic, "Developing an Open-Source EMR".

Dr. Dale Brandt, Lifetime PCOMS Member and Past President of FOMA was recently honored in his hometown of Fulton, Missouri at the 101st Annual Kingdom of Callaway Award Dinner. He was awarded the Kingdom of Callaway Distinguished Service Award for his years of service to the medical profession. Congratulations, Dale from your PCOMS friends.
